Business Challenge: Over 40 product teams management the platform used a variety of meetings across stakeholders to plan new objectives which did not align with each other.
Goal: Set up a common process which can be used by the entire product organisation to evaluate and approve new product roadmap objectives.
1. Monthly cadence of 3 meetings across the product, tech and business leadership to evaluate new roadmap items.
2. Bi-weekly sessions between product and tech leads to estimate new roadmap requests.
3. Clearly articulated roadmap proposals submitted to Executive Board on a monthly basis to get steer on roadmap.
4 months (at 3 days per week) 1. Dynamic 12-month roadmap signed off by the Executive Board on a monthly basis.
2. Complete alignment across all teams on roadmap objectives ahead of signoff.
